2026年5月15日，由国际中文学院与文学院主办、图书馆支持的“带一本书，见一个人”中外学生读书漫谈会在日新讲堂顺利举办。这场活动以书籍为契机，让来自不同文化背景的学生，完成了一次跨越语言与国界的心灵对话。

On May 15, 2026, Bring a Book, Meet a Soul — a Sino-foreign Student Book Salon co-hosted by the School of International Chinese Studies and the School of Chinese Language and Literature, with support from the University Library, was successfully held at Rixin Lecture Hall. Centered around books, the event enabled students from diverse cultural backgrounds to engage in heartfelt communication across languages and national boundaries.

活动开始前，一张张精美明信片便成了相遇的信号。每位参与者挑选一张自己心仪的明信片。明信片的不同颜色代表不同的分组，在不经意间与彼此种下缘分的种子。

Before the event began, exquisite postcards became the secret code for encounters. Each participant picked their favorite one, with different colors dividing everyone into groups. In this subtle way, bonds were quietly forged between strangers.

读《小王子》遇见童真，读《活着》体悟生命，《城南旧事》回望旧时光，《温柔的夜》拥抱烟火，《人间有味是清欢》品味日常诗意，随《苏格拉底哲学快车》探寻哲思天地。从儿童文学到深奥哲学，点滴温柔意趣，在这个午后共读共享。

The Little Prince lets us embrace childlike innocence; To Live teaches us to understand life; My Life in Old Peking takes us back to old days; Gentle Nights lets us embrace mortal warmth; Life’s Simple Joys lets us savor daily poetry; and Socrates’ Philosophy Express guides us to explore profound philosophy.From children’s literature to deep philosophy, subtle gentle delights are shared with you this afternoon.

随着活动的正式开始，各位同学按照分组围坐成圈，似久别重逢的书友，或轻诵国学经典，或分享外文佳句。随机出现的话题纸条，让对话无需刻意，每位同学积极地分享着自己与书籍的奇遇，碰撞出不一样的火花。“儿时拿起的第一本书籍是什么”“哪本书在潜移默化中塑造你的世界观”……这些话题的分享，让不同文化背景的同学们在文字的共鸣里，找到舒适的相处节奏。

As the event kicked off, students sat in circles by groups like old book-loving friends. Some recited traditional Chinese classics, while others shared beautiful lines from foreign works.Random topic slips made conversations natural and effortless. Everyone eagerly shared their stories with books, sparking wonderful exchanges. Questions like “what was your first book in childhood?” and "which book has subtly shaped your worldview？" allowed students from diverse cultural backgrounds to bond over shared love for literature and enjoy harmonious interactions.

深入的讨论告一段落，同学们都意犹未尽，为了加深对彼此的了解，活动进入了第三个环节。每一位参与者都在明信片上写下了自己喜爱的文字与暖心的寄语，参与者们带着书籍与明信片去寻找因书结缘的伙伴，在这期间各位同学得以真正走近彼此，完成“见一个人”的美好约定。那些藏在文字里的心意，都在现场的互动里被一一读懂，成为独属于彼此的温暖惊喜。

The in-depth discussions came to an end, yet everyone was still immersed in the moment. The event then entered its third part. Participants wrote favorite quotes and warm wishes on postcards, then looked for book-loving companions. They drew close to each other and fulfilled the promise of making new friends.Sincere thoughts in words were conveyed through interactions, turning into precious warm surprises.

活动的尾声是一段留白时光。有人与新识的挚友轻声闲谈，交换着读书时的细碎感悟；有人互相交换带来的书籍，在他人的批注与感悟里，看见不一样的世界；也有人只是静静翻读手中的书卷，享受着当下的惬意与松弛。

The event ended in peaceful leisure. New friends chatted softly about reading insights, exchanged books to explore different perspectives, or simply read quietly and enjoyed the moment.

本次中外学生读书漫谈会，不仅为两院学子搭建了一个阅读分享、文化交流的优质平台，更让中外书友在文字中跨越文化差异，在交流中凝聚情谊，既传递了阅读的力量，也丰富了校园文化生活。未来，文学院和国际中文学院将继续搭建更多优质的交流平台，以书润心、以文聚力，让书香萦绕两院之间，让跨文化的友谊在言语中愈发深厚。

This Sino-foreign Student Reading Salon has not only built a high-quality platform for students of the two schools to conduct cultural exchanges, but also enabled Chinese and foreign book lovers to bridge cultural gaps through words and forge friendship via communication. It has spread the power of reading and enriched campus cultural life.In the future, the two schools will continue to launch more excellent book exchange activities.We aim to nourish minds with books and unite hearts with culture, ensuring that the scholarly fragrance permeates both schools and that cross-cultural friendships grow ever deeper through communication.
